What this topic asks you to be able to do
- work out a straight line's equation when given enough information about it
- interpret the forms y = mx + c, y – y1 = m(x – x1) and ax + by + c = 0, and solve problems with any one of them
- appreciate that (x – a)² + (y – b)² = r² is the equation of the circle centred at (a, b) with radius r
