For students in Mauritius

An AI tutor that helps you work it out.

Pick a subject and Kindred looks up your syllabus as it answers. Bring it a problem and it is built to ask you to try first and give hints before answers. Check your answers, see on a map what you have explored and what still needs work, and keep your tutor and parent in the picture.

Free for every student, every topic, every subject, from the first day: the AI tutor, your syllabus map and a revision plan. Free is limited by how much you ask each day, not by which chapters you can open. Plus raises the daily limits fivefold and takes the Kindred watermark off prints, and timed exam practice. Every new student also gets 14 days of Plus to try, free, starting with their first question.

  • No card for Free
  • One price, every subject
  • 14-day Plus trial
  • Nothing renews by itself

A 2 kg trolley goes from 3 m/s to 7 m/s in 4 s. I used 7 m/s as the change and got F = 3.5 N, but the answer says that is wrong?

Three roles, one thread

Pick who you are when you sign up.

Tutors only see students who have connected with them, and guardians only the students they are linked to. The role you choose sets your workspace, and is fixed once you finish setting up.

01 — Student

An AI tutor that looks up your syllabus as it answers.

Add your subjects and level in Settings, then start a chat for each subject. Kindred pitches its explanations at your level and, in a chat set to one of your subjects, looks up your syllabus as it answers. Bring it a problem and it is built to guide you rather than hand over the answer. Check your answers, and see on your syllabus map what you have explored and what still needs work.

  • Practice from your tutor, and your own on any topic in your syllabus
  • A syllabus map, and a revision plan once you set your exam date
  • A topic counts as secure only when you get it right first time, before any hint, on three different questions spread over at least a week
  • For the time between lessons: it works alongside your tutor, and Ask my tutor sends them a chat
  • Subjects for now: mathematics and statistics, physics, chemistry, biology, combined science, accounting, economics, computer science, and English language and literature.

02 — Tutor

See where your students keep getting stuck in practice, before the lesson.

Run your classes as groups, offer session times students can book, and write practice sets once to use again. A class map shows, for each syllabus objective, how many students in the group need work on it, with the objectives most students struggle with listed first, based on the practice they check on Kindred.

  • Groups, bookable sessions and a library of sets and notes
  • Term plans laid out week by week around holidays and exams
  • Free for tutors, for up to 10 students. Kindred doesn't replace your lessons; it helps your students between them

03 — Guardian

A short Monday summary of your child's week.

By email and in the app, whenever there was activity to report: questions asked, topics worked on, whether practice was handed in, and what is worth revisiting. You cannot read their chats. For under-16s, your connection is what opens Kindred for them, and you approve the sessions they book. You can also message your child and read their tutor's progress notes.

  • Approve the sessions an under-16 books, for the students you are linked to
  • Progress notes from their tutor, in one place
  • The Monday summary is free, on every plan
  • One family plan covers up to 3 children
Set up as a parent or guardian

Clear about who sees what.

No feeds, no leaderboards, no chats with strangers: just the work, your tutor and your parent. Tutors only see students who have connected with them. Guardians only see the students they are linked to. Your tutor and parent can't open your chats with Kindred; they see how you are getting on. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
