Two things you can use today, with no students
You don't need a class on Kindred to start. Both of these work on your own.
Draft a practice set from your own paper
Upload your own worksheet or paper, with its mark scheme if you have one. Kindred writes new questions from it, or imports its questions as printed, and the questions open in the set editor for you to check and change before you set them.
Each file you draft from, or import, counts as one of your AI actions: 20 a month on Free.
Plan the term around this year's dates
Pick a syllabus and a term, and the weeks are laid out around the holidays and the exam date you set, for you to change. Plan with or without students, and draft each week's practice into your library as you go.
Once your students join
Everything below is based on what your students do on Kindred, so it fills in as they use it.
A class map
For each syllabus objective, how many students in the group need work on it, with the objectives most of them struggle with listed first, based on the practice they check on Kindred.
Groups and invite links
Run each class as a group. Share a link or QR code and your students can join; students who already have a Kindred account can also be invited by email. They sign in with Google, and under-16s can start once a guardian is connected.
Sessions, with a brief
Offer session times your students book; for under-16s a guardian approves. Before each one, open its brief: for every student booked, what needs work, where they are stuck, practice not handed in and the last chat they chose to send you.
What you see of a student, and what you don't
Tutors only see students who have connected with them.

- Their answers to your practice

- Progress notes shared with their guardians
- Sessions they book with you
What you don't
