What this topic asks you to be able to do
- Define the normal, the angle of incidence and the angle of reflection, and use each of these terms
- Describe a practical investigation that demonstrates the law of reflection
- Describe an experiment to find where a plane mirror forms an optical image and what the image's characteristics are (the same size as the object, as far from the mirror as the object is, and virtual)
- State that when light is reflected the angle of incidence equals the angle of reflection, and apply this to constructions, measurements and calculations
