What this topic asks you to be able to do
- Carry out working to find the perimeters and areas of compound shapes and of parts of shapes, and tackle problems involving them.
- Carry out calculations and solve problems about the volume and surface area of compound solids, and of parts of solids. You may be asked to leave answers in terms of π. e.g. work out the surface area and the volume of a frustum.
