Circles, arcs and sectors
What this topic asks you to be able to do
- Carry out computations on a circle's circumference and the area it encloses.
- Carry out calculations that treat an arc length as a fraction of the circumference and a sector area as a fraction of the area of the circle. You may be asked to leave answers in terms of π. The formulas are printed in the List of formulas. Both minor and major sectors are covered.
