- sketch the sine, cosine and tangent graphs, whatever the size of the angle and whether it is measured in degrees or radians, and make use of them
- apply exact values for the sine, cosine and tangent of 30°, 45°, 60°, and angles related to them
- use sin⁻¹x, cos⁻¹x, tan⁻¹x as notation for the principal values of each inverse trigonometric relation
- apply the identities sin²θ + cos²θ = 1 and cosθ/sinθ = tanθ
- find every solution of a simple trigonometric equation that lies within a given interval
