- Make displacement–time, distance–time, velocity–time, speed–time and acceleration–time graphs from the relationships in 14.14, and use them. For instance, a particle travels along a straight line and, at time t, its displacement from a fixed point is s, where s = 3t³ – 10t² + 4t + 8 for 0 ⩽ t ⩽ 3; sketch the graphs of its displacement, its speed and its acceleration against time.
