Vector geometry
What this topic asks you to be able to do
- Represent a vector as a directed line segment.
- Use position vectors.
- Use sums and differences of two or more vectors so that a given vector can be written in terms of a pair of coplanar vectors.
- Use vectors in geometric reasoning and problem solving: for example, show that vectors are parallel or that 3 points are collinear, or solve a vector problem that involves ratio and similarity.
