Fractions, decimals and percentages
What this topic asks you to be able to do
- Use the mathematical language and notation that go with proper fractions, improper fractions, mixed numbers, decimals and percentages, in contexts where they are appropriate.
- Recognise when two of these forms are equivalent, and convert from any one form to another.
- Write each fraction so that it is in simplest form.
- Convert from recurring decimals to fractions and back again.
